Clear corners finally in

Finally got my clear corners on. i cant seem to find those "stealth" bulbs anywhere as you can tell lol i have the orange ones in so i don't get stopped by the cops

the "stealth" bulbs you are looking are called sylvania silverstars

your local auto parts store should have em, i plan to put em into my truck if whats in there burns out.

they look like they light up blue....which would prob get me stopped quicker than white...i saw a post on ones that are chrome but when lit are amber.

nah those light up amber, when they are off they have a blue tint to em.

MISSION: FAIL.
Went to four different places (autozone, advance auto parts, C.A.P., walmart) neither had them. every place said they have been discontinued.
looks like i haev to go on ebay or amazon lol

found some for 10.98 a pair on amazon.

I THINK I still have a set of the chrome style ones laying around from my old Contour. Are yours the ones with the wedge push in connector or the regular 1156/1157 style twist and push?

edit: nevermind, I just remembered the chrome style ones I had lit up blue. I also had the silverstars like capser had, where they look blue but light up amber.


btw,your truck looks good.

Looks much better than the stock. You definitely need to get ya some bulbs like Casper98 has.

just installed these lights. cost $39 for each pair. main beams, and fog lights, .... it was weird cuz the guy at the desk at Napa told me he never seen such a big bulb for a fog light in my truck. he said they are brighter and more powered then any cars main head light high beam... i can see why they are bright as hel! but totall worth it..

thanks. ill be ordering two pairs for about 22 bucks on amazon next week. just waiting til then because ill also be ordering my 15x10 cragars and possibly my body lift if i have enough cash
