Did some painting today

Got some black semi-gloss today and came home and got to work. Painted my hitch and my front cross-member and some other areas. I totally forgot to take pictures before but if you want to know what it looked like before go look at a rusty frame, hitch, and front cross-member and you'll get a good general idea of what mine looked like.

Hitch:

Cross-member:

^^^AHH LOOK AT THOSE RUSTY CATS! THEY MUST BE REMOVED!^^^

Fun until you get pulled over.

And it will happen right before you turn 16 too.

Ok let me clear that statement up... I only drive places when I need something. I dont have parents at home during the day and when I get ideas to do stuff I go down the road a little bit to napa and pick stuff up. I also go get some food lol. And yes, it is all fun and games until I get pulled over. But I make sure I dont drive stupid and do anything dumb. (get on it, spin em, etc.)

When they're home I drive with them places. Other than that I just drive in town. And all these places I go to you can get to them by going through this one quiet neighborhood so there's a lot less chance of getting pulled over.

I've been driving for a year now and have never been pulled over. But with my luck, if I were to drive before I was 16 I would get pulled over, that seems to be the way it works.
I mean if you can get away with it, then more power to ya. I just know it would suck to get pulled over, especially if your that close to getting your license anyways.
And you never know when someone might pull you over for no reason.

Ive gotten away with it so far. Knock on wood. But I try not to push my luck. And just to give you an estimate of how much I drive in a day. My parents both drive about 5 miles a day. LOL they only go to work and back. So its not like im out all over the place.

And... we should start a countdown till you have no truck anymore due to that stuff; if you have a license - its because your supposed to be responsible; I would hate to see you wreck your rig because you were messing around on the highway and put other people at risk like that.

let me rephrase that, i change lanes quickly, but not how some people do it when theres only 3 feet between you and that person. i do it with plenty of room and dont pull stupid **** like that on the freeway going 70+ thats just asking for a wreck

now you need to go to lowes, get some high temp spray paint (5 dollars a can) and paint that tail pipe, it looks great when you do it, but if you do get the matte black..... it'll clean it up great!
