Kind of a silly question

I hate window vent visors, but my wife loves to crack the windows when it is raining and I am tired of the rain in my truck, soooo which type of front door vent visors do you like for less wind noise etc. I kind of hate the ones that fit into the window rail because they stretch it out, but then again the others require you to stick them to your paint. What do you guys think?

I think the in rail ones are alot better because they wont come off eventually. I don't think mine have really streached out the weatherstrip. I think I have the American Racing ones.

I have AVS I believe, they tape in the rail and they have kinda ruined the weatherstripping but not enough to cause any damage, plus you cannot notice it unless you are looking close. I agree with stone^^ I love them to death!! Blades

AVS makes 'snap in' in channel vent visors. I have a set, whats nice about them is that they use no tape so you can take them out and put them back in whenever you feel like it. The fit straight out of the box is so-so, I needed to do a little filing to get a cleaner fit, but then I am kind of funny about stuff fitting perfectly.
In my opinion they are great. The snap in ones might be the way to go since you can leave them in or pull them out as many times as you want.

So the consensus is inside the channel. I think the previous owner may have had those, cuse my rubber trim kind of sticks out. Or is this common?

Yea, on my '04 it does kind of flip out. That is one of the reasons I asked this question. I was worried about the fit of an in-channel visor, plus that it may either make wind noise worse, or not help it any, or maybe even damage the channel. The only visors I have ever installed for anyone, have been the stick on kind. No experience with the in-channel.
