Making level 2 hooks fit with bl

hi i am currently installing a 3 inch bodylift on my 2003 level 2 and i was wondering how to modify the front valence to accomodate the tow hooks. I have seen where many ppl have cut the valence to clear the hooks. i was just wondering how much i have to cut on the valance and what is the easiest way in which to cut it.
thanks

don't mod the valence, it will look crappy... either remove it all together, or mod the hook like this...
