COMPATIBLE YEARS OF CABS FOR MY 99 SUPERCAB FRAME?

So I ended up messing up my pride and joy aka my truck pretty bad, and need a new cab hood and bumper. My truck is a 99 4x4 4.0 OHV Super cab and of course finding that exact match up to swap it with is to say the least , difficult. What I need to figure out is what are my possibilities with different years? I can find a super cab I know that and I am a mechanic and a certified welder so if I have to do some fab work that's not the end of the world but my goal is to try an make it as plug and play as possible. Of course I know that would be to find the same year , engine and drive type but just for the sake of things let's just say that's impossible. I know someone out there knows the answers I need haha!

Ford was bad about changing little stuff every few years, so you may find incompatibility issues the further you get away from your year. Overall, the cabs are basically the same from 1998-2011, but your safest best would be 1998-2000. Remember there were two different Supercabs; ones with 4 doors, and ones with 2 doors. If you only have the 2 door, now is your chance to upgrade to the 4 door cab. It will mount the same, and most everything will bolt in the same except for the trim at the back of the cab so make sure your new cab has the 4-door specific seat belts and trim pieces if you go that route. I can't remember if the seat frames are the same between 2 door and 4 door Supercabs, so watch out for that as well.

Yea that's what I was assuming just needed some reassurance. Thank you very much for you insight. I do currently have the 4 door, but seatbelts don't matter in my case since I took the seats out long ago and replaced them with speakers haha.
