I ordered the black lock cylinders in from an '01. They look to be the same style, but the bezels aren't easily removable... they are just some sort of black painted tin, they will come off but they won't likely be in very good shape once removed. You could swap the whole thing out but I'd rather keep everything keyed alike, even thought I really only use the remote to unlock.

Pull the latch inside the door, pop the lock out and paint em. That's probably easier.

That's probably a better idea. It shouldn't get scratched off or anything if I don't really use them... just once in a while to make sure they still work!

you could always re-key your new locks, it should be able to be done by yourself, the locks are re-keyable for sure, a shop might charge you 10$ for both...

I might have to look into that... but I guess painting is still cheaper than buying new black ones.
Anyways sorry for taking this off-topic, back to the emblems!

Just a note -
I ordered some custom Ford emblem overlays from the guys at Ford Emblem Stickers Decals Chevy Bowtie Vinyl Lettering Signs A-Boards Window Signs Graphics. They offer them for the grille, tailgate, and steering wheel. I couldn't find anybody that made the actual custom emblems, but this was the next closest thing.

I just bought the steering wheel emblem for like $4 plus shipping to give it a test run before dropping more on the tailgate emblem down the road. It looks very cool I think. Just a little custom touch for my interior.

The lighting is a little fluorescent from my dome light since the pic was taken when the sun was setting - sorry. But the decal is all white with black lettering. You can pick colors, font, what it says, and whether or not the "ford" circle around the edge is there or not.

For those of you who don't know, a "WENDIGO" is a mythical creature or spirit from the arctic that possesses people and turns them into cannibals. It's the name of my white FX4. (Don't hate please.)
