I found this door on craiglist and I need to know if it will fit. If so I am going to get it and have it sprayed to replace my dented door.

all rangers are 2 door until 1998, I said if your is a 4 door its different the ad said it was a 3rd gen door

What is not true? he's saying ford only made Rangers in 2 door configuration until 98 when the 4 doors came out.

 

i never said there isnt 2 doors AFTER 1998 but there was NO 4 doors before read correctly and comprehend...



a 2 door, door might latch with the 4 door latch in it i would assume.. only one way to find out is look..

one problem i for see is make sure its not a 93-94 door with the older style panel it wont work with the newer style panel...

next is the window sill molding is different on that gen. it has the plastic end cap i have never had the chance to see if a newer style will fit on it.. i think it would but never tried..

so one side will be "slightly" different from the other side... depends on how picky you are...

 

ALSO... the door handle might be different after 2000 its hit or miss on the styles. some time is the bubble style some times is the double hump style you might want to swap your handle to it..
