Fender flare clips

A quick question: The two lowest clips that hold the front fender flares on (they are the only two like this), how are they removed? The seem to have a steel pin in the center that i'm guessing retains the clip, but there is no way that I can see to remove this pin, or the whole clip. There doesn't seem to be any access to the back side of the panel either.

My truck is going to have bedliner sprayed on tommorow, and I would like to have the clips removed before it goes to the shop.

If there the ones i am thinking of just push the middle of them with a pick or something small. Then pull them out.

Didn't think of that, I'll try it and let you know. Thanks.

Edit: Nope, as hard as I could push by hand, they wouldn't budge. Perhaps i'll try a hammer.

Edit again: Hammer wouldn't do it either... If I don't figure it out, i'll just tell the paint shop to mask them off.

I have a box of clips handy whenever i take my flares off.. some can be reused but i find it easier to just yank or cut them off and use fresh ones to slap em back on.

Yeah, I'll say! Okay, I'll likley just break them and buy two new ones. All the push pins on the inside of the fender I cut, and a couple of the others broke.

3 parts guys at two different dealerships have told me I have to buy the flares to get the clips. If anybody has a lead on getting these clips, point me in the right direction please.

I realize this is an old post but I am also looking for the clips? Did you ever find them? If you have a PN that would be great.

I've been looking for new clips for my EDGE Flares but no luck !

If ANYONE finds a number for just the clips, I too would like !

I did find out that Ford sells the clips, attached to new fender flares... buy new flares, if they have them, and you get new clips.

I think I spent about 20 hours online looking for something. I found something that I'm hoping will work, waiting on them to be delivered. If they work I'll let you know.

I was just out on Clips and Fasteners, they have a lot of clips, nothing comes up for Fender Flare Clips; I forgot what they looked like so I couldn't compare.
I need to pull my flares from the shelf and check out the clips.
