Fender well liner substitute

I'm in the middle of modifying my truck to be a little more off-road friendly. I've got a level kit and wheel spacers on the front but the wheels are still rubbing
on the inside of the fenders during a turn. I need to cut a chunk out of the bottom of the fender, kinda were it meets up with the door at the bottom. If I do this, the stock
fender well liners won't fit anymore.

Whats a good material to use to make a custom set? Or should I just cut up the ones I have already to get them to fit? I just want to protect the engine bay and the back side where the hinges for the door are. Those are in direct
line of any mud and water getting thrown up by the tires.

Why not put a body lift on so you don't have to worry about clearance.

Vertical clearance within the wheel well isn't an issue, its the bottom corner of the fender kinda where it mates up with the door. I've already
cut about 4 inches off each side of the bumper to free up room on the front. Now I need to chop the opposite side. Lifting it another 2 inches
with a body lift wouldn't give me enough height to clear the back side of the fender anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll probably just "mod" the factory wheel well liners and get them to fit.
