Paint Questions

Well some know now that i will be getting the truck painted as soon as the funds roll in..well i had a few questions...

1. should i have my mirrors painted to match the truck?

i will be cutting the rollpan and having the bedsides fixed where it can be painted and roll without a bumper until i find one later after paint..

2. so the questions is should i wait and get a rear bumper before or after paint?
iam detriming the truck to drop the price some on the prep work (yes i know like the sanding on it isnt going to be enough..lol

3. should i take the rear-window and rear side windows out? and interior panels? think it would be helpful when they paint it?

thats all for now...iam sure there will be more..

yeah get the bumper and anythign else done before you bother having it painted, otherwise, there was no point in paint

went today to let them have a look well they say the mirrors can be done but they will eventually chip off...so i declined the mirrors...also on the rear bumper iam going with chrome so i dont need it for paint so i will get one after my funds recoop...they quoted me with me detriming the truck...so 1 more month it will be in the paint booth hopefully...i cant wait :)

My mirrors are painted; wasnt too bad to smooth them out and they defenitly arent chipping. Now my valance is a different story - stones + painted XLT valance dont go good.

Yea, mirrors don't take a lot of abuse but bumper covers, painted grills, etc take the abuse big time. Even the hood takes a bunch of abuse too. I've had/have show cars & trucks & my nicks are where I previously stated.
