i wouldnt but i like the beer cooler
um no.. i liek the bed on there.
plus when you flex the tire will hit the flat bed, unless you actually make a wheel well |
i agree with everyone else......a flat bed would look horrible on there.....put the stock be back on...
how about put a front driveshaft on.
then do a flat bed, but obviously a nice one... |
Dude, It'd look cool with a flatbed on there. Make sure to raise her up about 8" so no rubbage of tire, or do a wheel well. Maybe a bed chest, a black powdercoat one in the front, spare right behind, some side rails....And most importantly, 4" LED tails & built in 6" Daylighters built into the flat bed. That'd be sweet.

I dunno, but I have that same green coleman cooler. :biggthump
Does a cooler full of beer qualify as a flatbed? If so, then I frequently to the "flatbed in the bed" mod!
no
it could be cool
hek no!
I like the look, but I don't know about on a ranger........ Maybe you should PS or have someone make a mock up and see what it looks like.......
Run a board down each side of the frame, bolted as close to the frame as possible use these as your base. (carrier beams, 2x10?) Now build your flat bed on top of those. Run stake sides on her and she would look pretty good. You could run the stake sides at 2 levels. The front ones higher then the rear ones. Something like 3ft high fronts and 2-1/2 ft high rears. use flat black metal brackets and maybe a red oak finish to the red oak boards.

No keep the bed, looks much better IMO
im voting for the front shaft and fix the exhaust be the priority
I personally love flatbeds if they're done right but most look ugly... but I do love they way you mounted your taillights :P
bbeeeddd
Please don't!
I like it better with the bed on there man, much love for the stepside.
just get some stackes comin out of the bed and put it back on no flatbed. again why dont you try and fit the 01 bed on your 98 lets see waht you would look like fleetside
lmfao i vote front driveshaft n new tires then make it a fleetside not stepside. although the stripper pole is a cool idea. hmm i think u can get more women in the bed that way they are safe rather then on the flat bed lol
you do it right and i think it would look badass.. then again, slap one together with some 2x4's and bailing wire and its gonna look like ass.. I say if you got the time and energy and money to do it right.. then go for it. Id love to see it.
