floor pans

What i'am trying to establish here is when there is a trim level where bucket seats can be ordered for ranger trucks, say 1983 and 1984,does that mean a provision has been provided in the floor pans of those years despite what trim level it is,so that when the truck is coming down the assembly line it's simply a matter of using that provision in the floor pan to mount a bucket seat or not and if not go to a bench seat installation? In other words do all floor pans have the provision to mount a bucket seat if so desired as long as you have the seat rails and i'am talking about 1983 and 1984 rangers?
