hahahaha....
Time for me to play with color!
12000k heads, 30000k fogs.
not diggin the fogs...but kinda am diggin' the fogs. i think they're screaming for black-n-white attention.
12000k heads light up the ground pretty darn good...not as good as my pair of 6000k's or 4300k's. Perfect for if you want color in the summer. Richer blue w/ purple mixed in. Fogs are pink as hell.

blue w/ purple tint. and straight up pink. dont worry....those were ran for one day. lol. bought both 12000k and 30000k as novelties. But ended up really liking the 12000k in the heads. i was after a purpleish tint to match the truck and it does it. the pics dont do justice. 30000k is still putting down about 1.5 times more light output then halogens...6000k is putting out 3 times more light output than halogen.

And YES that's a gen2 hood...

I'm gonna dig this back up, I haven't dug through the chevy forum yet.. But just to clarify, 4300 is as white as they get before going blue? I want white, possibly with a hint of blue, but nothing much.
Everyone's camera is obviously setup differently so you can't really tell in some of the pictures. some of the 5k's look more blue than the 6500s.

^^^I was first here to do it! lol.
You might like this...
Temperature colors...
Driver side: 4300k headlamp, 3000k foglamp
Pass. side: 6000k headlamp, 3000k foglamp
I actually prefer the 4300k's. They appear halogen like having a hue of yellow, but alot whiter.
Still havn't a clue how the hell I got that picture from my point and shoot. lol. Never been able to duplicate that shot ever since.
