Just wondering if a front skid plate off an explorer would fit on my 07 Ranger?

If so, what year should I get it off the Explorer?

you don't want a factory ford skid for the front.. unless its 100% for looks.

 

to be honest with you, it would be more for looks than anything, I don't really go off-road a lot. And also, I know some guys that work at the junkyard here and I could get it probably for cheap, if it would fit from an explorer?

 

does anybody if it would fit though?

 

wait for more than an hour to bump it, everyones coming home from work about now..

go look at one at the JY, then look at your truck and see if it'll work, thats the best way.

 

didn't know the explorer ever came with front skid plates

 

why not just run a RANGER factory skid plate?

 

Well I went to the junkyard last week and I looked for a while and they didn't have any, i'll look again but I wanted to know if the explorer ones fit on a Ranger.

 

if the junk yard has an expo skid plate, it shouldnt be that hard to tell if it will fit.... but ive never seen one

 

Ohh really, maybe there's no front skid plate on the explorer, I thought there was one.
