Trailer Hitch wiring

I want to use a T-connector-type for hitch wiring on my '08 XLT. I haven't crawled under the truck as of today to see if I can unplug the rear lights. Also, I found a T-connector for the Mazda version of the Ranger but not for the Ranger itself. My question is this: Is the wiring layout on the Mazda different than that of the Ford? Or can I simply use the Mazda part?

No, there's no pre-installed hitch wiring that I can see. (I do have a factory installed hitch but no wiring.) The existing wiring has a connector that can be pulled apart. I'm going to take a chance an try the T-One Connector Part# 118325. It looks as if it should work.
