Going to niteshade my tails

but how dark should i go, i know completley black on white trucks is secks. but im not a fan of being pulled over lol.

anybody got pics of niteshaded 06+ tails on white trucks?

2 coats, that way they look good, and you don't have the reverse light sticking out like a sore thumb. That's what I have on mine, and I've even passed inspection with them.

ew dont do niteshaded tails on a white truck, looks out of place.

3 coats if you do not want them to dark. Make sure to shoot them w/ some automotive clear or they will be very dull and ugly looking.

you should get L1224R leds so you can actually see the light when you hit the brakes.

If you do it (I don't think you should) I wouldn't do more than 2 light coats. I honestly do not mind them if it only slightly changes the shade of red, but it pisses me off seeing black tail lights. People can argue all they want but when they are blacked out and you are driving on the interstate in heavy rain and water spray, they are near impossible to see. Just asking to get rear-ended and found at fault if you ask me.

god i swear you pitch these things in most every post i see pertaining to lights. like out of nowhere.

anyways, here's 06+ tinted on my silver ranger back when it was closer to stock haha. had about two coats on em

i know lol
its a light enough color that in the right light it definitely looks silver. even in person sometimes and not just in pics lol

Yeah do 2 light coats, enough to make it a more dark red. When your done make sure to do a few heavy coats of clear, wetsand with 2000 grit and polish with PlasitX
