Got a new grill for my truck (pics inside)

finally went ahead and bought a grill for my F150. i forgot to take a pic of the stock grill, but oh well. it was the plastic H bar design that looks like crap IMO.

this is my replacement... it's from Roush. i was very happy to find out that they gave me a badge kit as well so i can remount the Ford emblem... i figured i was going to have to find a way to mount it on my own, but thankfully, they already figured it out for me, and it was a snap. entire install was about 45 minutes.

here's a couple of quick pics i just took. it's about to rain outside so i couldn't get any nice shots.. ignore the fact that my truck is dirty as hell too... once i get a nice afternoon it'll be cleaned up for better pics.

black headlights are already ordered and should be here any day now... once i get those installed, i'm going to look into the kits available for tinting the fog lights so they don't stand out so much anymore.

oh and if you dont want to niteshade the fogs, instead of finding kit just get some tint and cut it yourself, come in big sheets in case you mess up...(i should listen to my advice and finally get some for mine...haha)

actually neither was i.. i never liked the look of those billit grills you see everywhere... for a while i was looking for the harley grill for my truck, then saw this one in some pics and liked this one just as much. since it was half the price of the harley grill, i made my decision to go with the Roush grill. i really like it

in the process

gonna black out the front oval and the one on the tailgate... also replacing the FX4 decals on the bed with all black lettering and a dark shadow grey outline... a member on an F150 site has them and they look awesome on black trucks

That looks great, I'm glad you put the emblem back up. I don't like billet without the emblem.

tint would melt from the heat, unless you know where to find some high temp tint i wouldn't even bother.

i love the look of that grille, to bad they don't make one like that for the rangers.

That's a good change. What is the difference between that grille and a harley grille?

I dont' think Justin is talking about regular tint. 3M and Lamin-X makes a headlight smoked/tint/yellow/blue cover that you can purchase for the vehicle to give it that look. I'd contact Modbargins.com to see if they can get the F150 fogs for you.

Oh, and the grill is AWESOME. I really wish they made something like that for the ranger, i'd be on it... for sure

i ordered mine from www.patrioticdecals.com

this site was recommended to me from a bunch of members on F150online.com.... everyone buys from them there and everyone is pleased with their overlays.

if for some reason they don't have an overlay for your truck, email them... i think they'd be able to custom make them for any size. i know a guy that had the FX4 decals made in a custom size by them... all he had to do was ask.
