Ranger V.S. Snow bank
So I hit a stipid snow bank last night a little too fast, and just noticed today that I broke the parts that hold my drivers side fog light in. (2/3 anyways) So i need to figgure out how i'll bolt a new fog light in?
How it shifted back
Right side Bracket that holds it in, totally broke off the bumper and is bolted to the light.
Top bracket broke on the bumper, so the part's still there to replace the light.
I dont know what to do about the plastic peice that holds the fog light and broke right off the bumper on the left adjustment bolt piece . ???
As for the top peice that holds the light, That will be easy a new light will fix it.
What are you opinions??
Also for replacement lights, How effective are the Projector Fogs? ( anyone have any good pictures of their beam pattern? ( whats better clear or amber) ?

Im tell'n ya dude gorilla glue put's super glue and jb weld to shame. look at it this way though it's only a few bucks and IF it doesn't work then it only cost you a few bucks BUT if it does then it saved you a ton. Worth a shot and i'm sure it'll hold!! put it on and let it set up for a day then put the light back in.

gorilla glue might work... JB weld is for metal...
honestly you guys are recommending the wrong stuff if he wants to rebond plastic you want plastix weld its an epoxy that actually goes on then softens and forms to the plastic forming a "weld" which then if applied more then usual the epoxied area is stronger then the whole rest of the part...

funny side story, a guy at my work has a civic with black housing altezzas, they CLEARLY say on all 4 pieces on the bottom that they are DOT aprovved and they have a number you can check, well he got a ticket for em, so we went on the internet and referenced the number and they are legit on the aprovval ... so off to court he goes in a few weeks to contest the ticket.

They're legal as long as they have a red reflector in them, which all Altezzas do and why so many ricers out there have eurotails. The completely clear OEM style lenses with white reflectors like I had on my B2200 are uber illegal.

yea his have the reflectors to the back AND sides so im confident he will win in court if he brings the pics we took of it reflecting the camera flashes to the back and sides and the dot documentation
and those clear tails are fun
got a warning even though i put some red reflective tape on the hitch you can see at the bottom

Yup, cops don't like those at all. I'm pretty sure your buddy will win in court. The tails on that Teg are hawt.
Alex, they're illegal because the reflector is white, which means you can't distinguish between the front or rear of the vehicle when the lights are not on. Front can have amber or clear and the rear has to have red. Funny you say that seeing how you're in Maryland and they're mod *****.

Ok enough thread jackin!! Those are illegal because they have no red reflectors in them. They used to be legal but the law changed and they have to at least have the red reflectors in them. he could even but red reflective pieces of tape on the outside then they would be legal. If any questions on it PM me let this man have his thread.
Yeh stone i agree on the epoxy end. i just said the gorilla glue for something quick fix, and its not like your gonna see that side of anyways, but good point non the less!!
