Next time, try to word your question a little more clearly. One huge run-on sentence with shortened up words is very hard to read.

If you've got a US spec '08 Ranger, it shouldn't have Daytime Running Lights. Unless it was a dealer installed item. If so, disable it. Could be as simple as pulling a fuse.

I suggest buying a complete new HID kit instead of trying to make one work and worry about needing harnesses and such. Plus, you'll have that warranty to back you up. They're only about $40 shipped now so there's practically no excuse not to. At minimum, you'll need the 9007 to ballast wire(two of them). Some HID bulb replacements actually include this piece. If the kit you've got came from a Civic, you'll also need 9007 bulbs.

Additional to a complete HID kit, I suggest getting a HID relay harness. These Rangers tend to need one so you don't have any "winking HID" problems....IE one light firing while the other stays off. The relay kit will wire both sides together while taking juice directly from the battery instead of just the switched power. You can build one yourself or buy one for about $15 off eBay.
