lights behind the grille

ok ive been wanting to get me some lights behind my grille, ive seen a couple people on here have them, so how did you mount them and what you use?

i have piaa lights. i pulled the grill and drilled holes in the core support on the top and bolted them down.

I did mine the same way..... but being that I dont have the honey comb grille I had to get some small ones that could be seen through the lower slots in the grill. When I swap to the honey comb grille Ill be putting in some Hellas.

i think you have to stay under 60 or 90 watts though or you risk melting your grille.

good call! 100watt kc's would be disaster! hids would be alright tho

IF you have a billet grille you could easily go 100watts..

werd. I driled into the core support. I had 130 watt kc's behind a billet grill:

Just bolted mine to the core support. My lights don't bounce around at all

There shouldn't be much of a problem with lights behind the grille, I haven't ever heard anyone talk about melting the grille.
