How long does it take to remove a body lift?
I am looking at picking up at '99 ranger supercab flareside and the damn thing has a 4" superlift and 3" body, well i hate body lifts and it makes the truck illegal in the state of WI (law permits 5" lift, not 7" and yes cops up here suck!) So will everything be there or am i gonna need to buy stuff? i have never put on a body lift or anything, so forgive my ignorance. i would imagine i will need all new bolts for the cab, box, etc. thanks for your help

So if the guy who did the body right, i should just be able to remove the pucks and lower it and tighten all the bolts back up and be done. and the ground straps, the radiator drop downs, removing the gas tank extensions, clipping off some hose pieces to prevent rubbing, bumpers, and i think that's about it...

yeah i can see that, just because 1 person is a moron they make stupid laws that punish everyone, IMO if your truck is inspected and roadworthy, you should be able to have 44's on your ranger if you want to. a kid up here got killed in a accident last summer leaving a party, he pulled out in front of a waldoch silverado (for those of you who don't know what a waldoch is--is just a conversion truck) it was rancho lifted on 295's, anyone the kid was intoxicated and the kids parents made a huge deal about how the lifted truck was the reason their son had been killed in the wreck...here's the ironic part---kids mom and dad own a beer distributor and his truck back home was jacked up 9 inches and on 37's---but they wanted to sue the guy who had a legally lifted truck, typical america..blame somone else. maybe he died because he was driving a geo metro for god sakes...anything to save 10 bucks on gas...
yea the law only talks about trucks less than 8000 GVWR, so diesels i think can be lifted to set amount. yea i think that truck will look badass after some different rims/tires, no body lift and 01-03 edge front swap
