Headlight Clips

First of all this is my first post, long time viewer .

I have a rather unique situation. The previous owner did some work to the headlights and inserted one of the clips in backwards. This clip is on the outer edge of the passenger headlight. There is more pressure from the headlight assembly on the clip and I can't break it loose at the bottom. I also can't get to the plastic piece on the bottom to adjust it. Any suggestions?

I'm saying that I can't remove the light from the truck itself. I just need to figure out how to break the clip loose.

lol...I finally got it. I put two long 1/2 extensions together with a socket that cupped the bottom of the bracket. A couple of good whacks from the hammer and it came right out.
