Yep, it makes a big difference IMO. One of those little things that you'll kick yourself for not doing.

no condensation...sealing very good...no issues at all. the corners....i've got two sets of modded 06 corners....one i bought already modded(which are starting to leak) and one set that is perfect(the one i did). one of my sets are on disturbedesv's truck.

there isn't much glare at all in our housings...there's no difference in light output as the reflector is untouched when doing this mod.

marie's is John Deere Blitz Black(which is prety much flat with a pinch of gloss thrown in). Mine are gloss...my new set are Blitz Black. it's pretty much up to you and your tastes.

That's the best way to go. If you don't want these get the '06 corner lights(option 1).

I went Satin Black on mine, like Shane said its all your personal taste.

I personally don't understand why someone would spend over 100 on these lights when they can mod them for 10 bucks.

^^OEM quality....you can change the look up if you dont like the wya the truck looks with them.....and if you mess up...you have to find another set of stockers to modify.

$100 is nothing. if all you'vegot to work with is scratched of piles of crap...

If you paint them,I would personally go with a satin finish. Shane and Marie's lights look freakin sweet.

My mazda ones would look sweet, but you can't paint them because the entire inside of the headlight lens is reflective and doesn't have space like the ranger headlights to paint anywhere that isn't reflective.
