Help...Im Trying to paint my Topper.

Im trying to order the paint for my topper to match the truck. Just gloss black right? how much should i need? Same amount for clear coat? Where to order?
I was looking on Dupont.com and there is exterior metal paint and exterior plastic paint...wich would fiberglass fall under?
any links to where i should order from?
my buddy worked in a body shop and he painted his truck so i trust him to do my topper and worst that could happen is he fails me and i pay someone else to do it. Thanks

There should be a color code on the door sticker on the drivers side. Google the code and it will tell you the specific Ford color. I would get the paint from a local paint shop, and they can help you with all your other questions.

I've been told by two different body men that have painted for decades that Black is Black. Obviously if there is metallic or something in it then you need metallic paint but other than that any Black should work.

Started working on it today got all the windows out except the rear since its riveted on. gotta go get my drill and dremel out of storage tomorrow dont feel like it tonight. once i started sanding relized how bad it was. 99% of the scratches were deep and wide all the way down past the clear coat and paint. so making her smooth is taking some time but not in a hurry and its relaxing. sprayed one corner with the primer just to see how it would look.
