Ok so i hit a deer the other night and im working on getting stuff for the swap now. I have read other threads on it. Seems pretty clean cut. The only question i have now is. I didnt plan on swaping to the powerdome right away. But it seems as if i keep my current hood i would need to get a 2wd grille surround and the when i get the powerdome change to the 4wd version if not id have a gap between the grille and hood? Is this correct or not? It just look's like it to me after i was looking at pictures of them.

It doesn't matter....both hoods will work with both style grilles.

'flat' hood with honeycomb grille = slightly bigger grille/hood gap.
'powerdome' hood with 'bar' style grille = tighter grille/hood gap.

edge grille/edge hood vs edge hood/regular grille(yea, i know 98-00, but the lines are the same as the 01-03 bar grille) Looks close, but doesn't touch or hit even if you clam the hood.
