How do ID these tail lights as ford or aftermarket?

I got some tail lights off ebay. I think they are aftermarket replacements. 01-05 tails. they are in great condition and I only paid $35 shipped to me. But still am a little annoyed. They do not have any ford logos on them. they do have the year/month grid. a Visteon logo, FD29.45, part numbers are asyvil5x-13b504-b and asyvil5x-13b505-b. The seller swears they came off his truck when it was new and were replaced with fancy aftermarket lenses.

I believe all ford tails have the Visteon logo, no ford logo on them.

Don't know if this is relevant but I just checked my 98 tails and they both have the Ford logo.

I have some from a 2000 that do have the ford logo and thats what i was comparing them to. The new ones also feel lighter than the 2000s that I have.

yeah, can do it tonight when I get home (will be late though). I found this info about Visteon on wikipedia,

"Visteon is to the Ford Motor Company as Delphi is to General Motors and Denso is to Toyota. In 2004, it had 70,000 employees worldwide and $18.7 billion USD in sales, and it includes over 200 facilities around the world. Since its independence from Ford, Visteon has set a corporate goal of expanding business with other companies, and now has substantial relationships with General Motors, Chrysler, and several Asian manufacturers including Nissan and Hyundai. In 2005, Visteon moved to new headquarters in Van Buren Township, Michigan."
