Bumper Help. (Paint and Fix)

I while ago I hit a wall and it bent my bumper in a little on the driver side. I took off my bumper today to try and fix that bent part, I hit it with a hammer many times but couldn't get it off. Any body have any ideas of how I can get that out? (I have pictures attached.)

The next thing is I want to paint the bumper also. It has a lot of discoloration and I would like to make it all one color. Should I just sand the whole thing then hand paint it. Or can I just spray paint it and be done with it? I have attached some pictures.

Thanks for the help guys. :)

with a dent that small in such a tight spot it will be nearly impossible to pull it out, as for painting you could sand and spray it for less than 5$

I don't think those pictures show my problem very well. The driver side is bent in just a little but it is messing with my driver side head light, it is making it angle down. So there is no special technique to straighten it out? If I were to buy a new bumper where could I get one and how much would it cost?

What grade of sand paper should I use and what type of paint?

^if your headlight is aiming down you got more problems than just a bent bumper

Yeah, the frame is bent a little, I have tried straightening that out but can't get it back to its original position... I took a picture just now to show it to you.

I was thinking about getting a new one but I don't think I care enough. lol The down wards angle really isn't that bad, plus with my new lights they give off more light so I don't have to worry about not being able to see the road any more.

Also, I talked to the guy at Advance Auto Parts and he told me all I need to do is a light sanding of the whole thing and then a higher grade for all the deep cuts. After that just spray paint it and I am done.

My new question, what color should I paint it? I have a white body on my Ranger and the plastic under the metal is grey. Should I just paint the metal and plastic black or what?

I was talking to my buddy who lives near me and does a lot with vehicles. He told me about an auto salvage place near me where I could get a used bumper for around $30 so I will go there tomorrow and see what they have.

I might even see if they have a front frame too. If they have both for a reasonable price then I will guide of how to do that. lol Plus, still need to decide what color I want to paint it.

I couldn't find any 04 bumpers at any of the yards I went to. I would have to buy a new one for $100. So I don't care that much about it, lol. I just sanded it down and spray painted the whole thing to get it all one color and stop rusting.
