How to: Make a decent gap guard for $5
You will need:
4"-6" plastic Lawn edging. Ensure it has a tube insert in the top of the edging for added edge strength - Small self-tapping screws with washers - Drill with drill bit to make pilot holes - Scissors to cut edging -measuing tape - black spray paint - screwdriver to put the screws in. -(optional) three buddies and your favourte beverage How to: Locate tacked metal lip inside the wheel well. Measure the length guard need to cover the gap Drill pilot holes thought the tacked metal edge to accomidated as many screws as necessary Get the precut lawn edging and put the reinforced edge of edging against the inside of the fender Put a washer on the screw and drive the screw into the pilot hole Hold the edging taught and screw through the next hole and so on... This is obviously not a custom made to fit option however hopefully you will only be drawing attention to you new 33" or bigger hahaha. Enjoy the fact you officially saved $95 :) Jamie (twojays24) |
