I need help!

So over the summer i painted my faded grill black and unfortunately it has started chipping. I then removed it and have started sanding it to get it repainted. I painted it with Krylon Fusion Plastic paint but the grill must have not been clean. Is there any easier way to remove the paint than sanding? Also should i prime it next time i paint it?

Sandblast it. And you don't really need to prime it if your going with the same color.

Try an adhesive promotor before paint.

Krylon Fusion contains an adhesive promotor, you have to make sure its clean before you spray it.
