I want cargo lights
 

Hey guys, I tried to search this, and maybe I didn't search for the right phrase, but I want cargo lights. I don't have any on my 04. Is this hard to do? Also can I rig it so that they go on when I am in reverse as well?

If you mean the 3rd brake light with the White Red White, people have taken those put bulbs in the white areas and then spliced the wires into the dome light so it comes on with the dome light...you could do it with the reverse as well...just have to run the wire a long ways...

So could I run the power wires to the dome light and the reverse lights? Is that what you are saying?

Umm...Im not the greatest with wiring...but I think to hook it up to both you would have to have some sort of relay in there...you could hook one up to dome and one up to reverse if thats what you really want...but why you want it to come on with the reverse lights?

and is it the third brake light you were talking about, or somethign like zabeard posted where the lights are actually in the bed of your truck?

I want it to come on in reverse as well for better lighting, all my windows are tinted and any extra light would be great when backing up. I have the third brake light now as everyone does, but I have no cargo lights, I use my bed allot and having cargo lights would be great back there instead of a flash light.....

I have a cargo third brake light (clear/red/clear) that I can sell you. PM me if you want it.

edit: it comes with the harness and a couple inches of wire
