Installing lights

Ordered some smaller lights, planned on mounting them on both sides of the front plate on the plastic part, but looked into it and really could't find a good place to mount them to. i

get yourself some light tabs, they mount on the back side of the bumper at the top.

I got some cheap walmart oval fogs that fit perfectly next to the license plate. I just drilled through the plastic and put them em in. They look good there in my opinion.

I think www.stuffforyourranger.com used to sell them, I dont see them on the site right now.

Heres a how to so you can make your own tho
https://www.ranger-forums.com/showth...ight=light+tab

but with the lights your getting i wouldnt suggest mounting them like that. Just put them next to the license plate on the valance.

and paint your bumper/valance lol you got three shades of black on the front haha

yea the valence has always bothered me lol. but ive seen a pic of an xlt with the lights by the license plate on the front and looked good, but they were also rectangle haha. think i might try the light tab idea and see if it works, already have the pre drilled holes and would save some problems for me, i looked at the valence really couldnt find a good spot for it

I hope you didn't pay $95 for those oval lights....

Here's a set I had on my truck (since removed from front) that I got for about $20.00 Given, they're not Hella's but they use the same H3 55w bulbs.

I've still got a set of them under my roll pan for aux backup lights.
