i was lookin into those..but im plannin on shaving my door handles so that wouldnt work..i want a naked door not a naked door sporting a keypad

looks good tho..

yeah, I just discovered that it does light up, just mash any key on the pad and light lights up orange :-)

hm, being that i have manual locks im envying that... is their a way i could get power locks for remotes/ keypad without power switch on the inside? just wondering/pondering/ trying to get my mind off homework for a little while

how far can you mount the unit away from the door handle?? I dont like the look for mine but would like to have it mounted somewhere inconspicuous to use in a jam..

roughly 18" away from the PATS module...

and to answer a question from above about going from manual to power locks you can't do it without adding a PATS module that is programmed for PDL's..

with that style, as i posted earlier, it has to be within 18" of the PATS module...what has to be done with some Ford vehicles, rangers as well, the PATS module has to be relocated from the center dash area to the DS kick panel...depends on year and options though...

definitely things to consider before buying
