lets see your fiberglass!!
i searched and couldnt find a thread like this. i want to see whatever fiberglass exterior parts you guys have. hoods, fenders, bedsides, custom stuff, you name it. i want to know what company, why you went with those instead of a different brand, and if you wish you had gone with something different. looking at getting fenders and bedsides but there's too many options. i really like koyns, BLK02's, and INT3RC3PTOR's but open to other options. bring on the pics!

i have an order into Mcneil for 3" fenders. should be about 2 weeks before i see them.
reason i went for them, they are the best quality ive see and everybody love them that ive hear from. also, they were the best price and they are the company BC supertrucks deals with.
BLK02 is who hooked me up at BC with brandon, he runs mcneil i believe. as for interceptor, hes either mcneil or fiberwerx, dont remember.
they are awesome looking, and im so excited to get mine on the truck.

anyone on here have a one piece conversion? i was doing a little figuring here at the hospital while waiting for my girlfriends water to break and it seems like the price difference between a one piece and all the front end parts i would need to piece my truck back together would cost about the same. im trying to find a one with only a 3-4 inch bulge but the smallest ive found is a 6. i think with a eb44 and a 37x12.50x17 on 17x9 classic lock, that the tire would look too much like the factory depth and not be sticking out or flush with the fender like i want it to be. any opinions?

that would look great, but i prefer a regular bed for both looks and functionality. and my truck had a powerdome before, loved the look so if i got a one piece it would have a powerdome profile. i saw a pic of a red truck on desertrangers that i absolutely love. its kind of a double rise powerdome but it doesnt have the center teardrop. ill try to find a couple pics of ones i like and post em up for some input... or bashing. lol

the red truck is the one from dezertrangers. the only things i would want different are the louvers on the bottom hood section, i would want it to have the teardrop, and i wish the body line matched the cab and wasnt so pronounced on the fender.
the white truck is the one on mcneils site. again, i dont care for how deep the body line is on the fender.
i wish i could get one of those with a 3-4 inch bulge. what do you guys think?

looking forward to seeing your pics!
i plan on kind of combining beards truck with koyns truck with the samurai from extreme 4x4 with a real low crawler. lol. im going for a low, well rounded truck for wheeling and a dd. i want it to flex like crazy and stuff either a 35x12.50 or a 37x12.50 on a 17 classic lock. im thinking a 3 link front with 14 inch ballistic coilovers and a giant 64 kit mounted SOA instead of SUA. and eventually i want to make a twin tube frame like the one on that samurai.
the state of maine has frame height restrictions on lifted vehicles so i plan to run 27" from the ground to the the bottom of the front of the frame and 29 in the rear. i jacked the truck up one night to those measurements and with a 3"bl it would measure roughly 6'4 to the top of the cab. perfect.
i dont care for flares very much and i cant have the tires stick out past the fenders too much. an inch and a half max. the wheel openings in glass can tuck a 35 or 37 perfectly and give me the flare i need. thats why i want glass, and i think it would look bad ***.
basically i want my truck to look like a leveled version of the 2 trucks i just posted with a d44, the ability to flex like a rubber band in the rocks, and ride good on the road. i have a picture in my head but its hard to explain. lol

picture beards truck when it was on 37's except for the silver paint. the same rear bumper, similar sliders, and a cleaner looking front bumper all painted satin black. the black tool chest that i had before like razorsedge's and a nice clean bed cage for some LT shocks that doesnt take up much room. now add glass bedsides, a one piece conversion, and a twin tube frame. lower the truck about 4 inches and throw on some 37x12.50x17 mtr kevlars and a set of 17x9 polished classic locks with black trim rings. thats the look im going for.

check out fiberglass parts
I brought a Raptor style hood from this company after comparing most of the fiberglass hoods available out there; I was looking for the Fit and Finish, plus Quality. I was looking at some bodies the desert racer were using, ask who made them=Bingo, check out the pictures=

does that company do any custom stuff? i love those bedsides, but i would prefer them without the built in flare. same with the front fenders. nice looking truck though.
heres a raptor conversion i found.

Fit & finish,cost
What was the cost of your fenders and hood. Does that fiberglass company warranty a good fit?? Nice, but needs help on fender gap and hood flushness. Keep trying.
