Icon3 Lights behid grill 04-05 (pic request)

Just trying to visualize what different lights look like behind the grill of an 04-05 truck. Looking at a truck that came without fogs, and I've become kind of addicted to them. Any help or direction would be great!

Winks.. How did you mount them? I got a set but I can't mount them to the header panel cause they are still hitting the grille..

I don't have any photos of how I mounted them, but I used light tabs that I had from when the Hellas were in front of the bumper. I drilled holes through the bottom of the header panel and mounted the tabs there. The bottom of the header panel has separated down the middle and bent in some, so that may benefit me, I don't know.

Did you try mounting the lights upside down on your header panel, Laz?

I actually only tried upside down (the top of the header panel)

I also have to deal with the horn and trans-cooler:

Laz, I'd say that the light tabs are the way to go. By using the ones I had available, I just cleared the horn. As for the Trans cooler, if it's the same distance away from the horn, it would work... or you could always make longer ones. I plan on cleaning up the truck tomorrow, if the weather holds up and I get to it, I'll take a couple photos for you so that you can see my setup.

laz i just put mine in last night. i have mine hanging but it was a lot if work to bend up brackets and make it all fit right. the horn is an easy fix... remove it and bend the little tab on the bracket that hooks into the panel and rotate the horn down.

Sorry Laz, I got sent to the hospital by my family this weekend and never got to the photos. Now that I'm looking at Vista's photos, you can see the light tabs on his, which is exactly what I did. I don't know how that would work with your trans cooler though.
