My truck has the infamous separtating of the emblem FTL. Its getting worse. A guy on one of the forums has found one on a tailgate at a JY and I was wondering if they have same mounting points or if they are even the same size? I cant tell just by looking at it, plus im at work so i cant go measure.

 

crap just remembered I dont think the the tailgate emblem has mounting posts like the grille emblem, I think it will work, but I would have to use 3M tape to mount it. can someone elaborate

 

They are the same size and fit fine... I have a tailgate one on my grille now. I used thread cutting nuts on the back to hold it on nice and tight and to make it easily removable because I knew it would go bubbly again (which it has!).
