Bull bar help

Icon5 Bull bar help

Hey im thinking of putting a westin bull bar on my 07' ranger. im wondering do i need to cut anything such as the lower plastic valance or anything to install it and do i need to relocate my liscense plate? please help me out before i buy it

you shouldnt have to cut anything they are designed to wrap around. as for the plate, mount it to the bull bar.

o ok thanks iv'e heard that i would have to cut holes in my lower valance and everything so thats good that i shouldn't have too. Would you recommend a bull bar or are they just not worth it?

i prefer the westin full brush/grill guard. more front end coverage.

alright i think about it but i dont really think i want all that in front i was just kindve looking something small yet nice lookin that i can put lights on but ill definatley give it a look thanks

just saw this, since the 07 bumbers are more "squarish" the westin bull bar will push in the bottom a lil bit. what i did was make a half circle into the bottom, and the bumper returns to its orignal spot. BTW: u cant even tell that the half circles are there because the bar will cover it all up. heres some pics of mine for ya,

here is a perfect picture describing what happens. u can see my lower valence turns up and in.

These are after my tires and lights, but u can kinda see that the bumper came back down to normal position.

wow thats the same setup i want. what kind of lights are those on the bar i kno wthere piaa but are they the SMR? Awesome truck too looks kind of like mine, i hope mine looks just as good. How do you like the black too, people say that it rusts really easy and crap but i really dont want chrome so i guess how is yours holding up? No rust or paint nics.

Wow you got lucky man thats cheap im about ready to spend around 400 altogether. Hope i can find a good deal like you. and does your truck have any thing done to the suspension or is it stock?

right now its stock. im just ordering the 3" spindles right now, i already have AAl for the rear so when the spindles come in, ill throw them on :)

cool that looks good at the stock hieght i was scared that it was going to look dumb but now i cant wait to get mine. thanks
