I have a 2000 xlt i was wondering if a 2005 xlt bumper would fit and if anything would have to change will it bolt right up , will i need new brackets or if its just not going to work thankyou

 

yes it will...there's many threads here regarding bumper swaps. old to new..new to old, etc. On your swap, i think youll need to get 01-05 bumper brackets. But i don't know from first hand experience. There is a member here who has a white 98-00 w/ a 01-03 edge bumper....basically the same bumper as on a xlt.

 

Yeah i saw that on here i was not sure if the 03 and the 05 where the same or not
