yea exactly, everyone i know that got a paintjob there, the car looked good for about 6months to a year and then it ended up looking worse then it did before the paint job, they paint over window rubber, antennas and everything

But they do have SOME good paint jobs but those cost as much money as other good places.

I wouldn't get your truck painted at Maaco if I were you. I have heard so many bad things about them. I hear they don't do any prep work either and that is one of the most crucial parts of painting something.

my parents had them repair the bumper on our car and they did a good job. im just it wasnt that "ambassador paint service" though as just getting the bumper done cost more than an entire car in those commercials

but they did a good job and the paint matched perfectly

yeah, i know that the local shop charges like 3-5g's depending on what paint, and the body work... i was just wanting some touch up places on the truck around the bed rails, etc.. the main thing that is getting done is the bird..

thanks for all the info as always guys.. ill see if the local shop can hook me up...
