My new (to me) topper on my dead truck...

Figured since I was sitting here doing nothing I'd post up some pics of my truck. It was quite a feat getting that topper off the low 2wd rental truck onto my lifted 4wd haha. I parked the rental like two inches away, crawled out the passenger side door, and somehow managed to do it. I'm sure it's not sitting on there perfect but idc. I gotta take it off and do some work to it. Nothing's wrong with it just some custom details =]

I gotta take it off anyhow to herculine the bed too.

Looks good on there. Its definitely not easy putting a top on by yourself, I've done that with the Bronco, and lost a bit of paint in the process.

Very true! lol

I got my chrome step bars I picked up back there too. I didn't wanna put them on and have some fat slob service tech bend em up before the truck is even driveable.

Going offline for a bit....

Dealer is trying to give me the run around. I'm leaving this Ford dealer where my truck is at and going to the uhaul to pick up the box truck and trailer. Gonna have to trailer the rental back then pick up my truck and take it back home so the dealer who did the engine work can "look at it". I'll prolly be back on after I get home this evening with some updates.

Nice topper, BTW thats the worst bumper sticker I have ever seen.

looks good up there, matches the truck well and has nice windows, good price too, i always get someone else to help me move mine cause its too heavy for just me, the other person always manages to scratch their side up though, i think the truck is gonna be needing some paint work this summer

Ive always wondered this but why did Ford make stepside beds? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, ive just always wondered this.
