Leer Tonneau cover Flush fit on bed rails??.....

I just bought a top of line Leer 700 Series used Tonneau cover. It is only 3 years old. I know this because I brought it to a Leer dealer and he noticed the brackets look like the brand new ones. anyways I feel like the cover could fit more flush with the bed rails. I used the adjuster on it to put it so the cover will close the tightest way possible w/ the adjusters but there is still a little gap on it when it closes. The guy at the dealer said that's just how they fit because that is how the bed is designed on the Rangers but I see other pictures of other peoples on here and they look like they fit tighter and more flush than mine. Anybody else come across this?
