mirror question please?

I have a broken passenger mirror (manual) on my 02. I removed the broken glass and am wondering if a replacement mirror simply pops into place or if I have to disassemble. Also any tips or cautions when replacing? thanks a whole bunch guys!

I'm almost positive you can get just replacement mirror glass. I don't know if thats power mirrors only though.

Just go ahead and replace them with the 06+ ones, you know you want to.

there is a plastic lip on the edge of the housing that is loose at the spot I brushed a post. I'm wondering if that lip needs to come out to insert the glass or just force the glass into that lip? anyone

I don't know much about replacing just the mirror glass; however, if it was me i would probably just replace the whole thing and not have to worry about it falling out when i hit a pot hole.
