mudflap options?
So with the Mazda, I have (or had) those rigid plastic mud flaps that break as soon as you hit something with them.
Are there any stock Ranger mud flaps that are softer/more flexible. I really need some atleast on the back because my tires kick up so much slush and crap from the road it just cakes my rockers, doors and rear bumper with crap.
Pic of said mud flaps I have.

lol....i have those same style mudflaps as on the OP's mazda....man i have backed into so much crap and had them bend til they touch the tire and even in cold weather like now, they have not broken off or had any white marks from them being bent. ill go out and bend it all the way with my shoe and take a pic if you want haha they are pretty sturdy IMO but they will be coming in the spring with the lift and 33s

Okay,so here's why I want/need some soft mudflaps..since the hard plastic ones just get in the way and break and catch all the road crap and make mini-snow/slush mountains that rub against the tire.
See the way the corner of the bumper fills up with all the crap? That's all salt and crap in there which will end up rusting out my bumper, not to mention the bottom of my bed. I see this all too common on the 86-93 Mazda B-series trucks. The corner of the bed rusts out and the lower valance behind the bumper rots out because all the crap gets caught inbetween it and the bumper and rots out both the bumper and the bed at the same time.
And yes, in due time I will be rockerguarding my entire lower half of the truck.

You can go with the crappy ones that Ford currently puts on the newer Rangers......that cheap looking flappy rubber that looks like @ss.
But....
If you want to prevent slush and junk from hitting the bumper, you'll need wider flaps that stick out farther then your tires as well as longer ones......almost touching the road.
Basically, get trucker flaps......big, wide, and ugly....LOL
