My newest idea

It's a new idea for me, but not for you guys...
I wanted a roll bar on my 01 Edge, but I could never find one inexpensive enough, and not be CHEAP. This one is a ONE PIECE double single, basically two bars in front, and one back to the TOP OF THE WHEEL WELL....I didn't want one that mounted in the bed, because it eats bedspace..

I found one cheap, unfortunatly, I had to pay extra for the lights(even though I didn't want them), because the guy would only sell the whole thing, he wouldn't separate...
I'm debating whether I want to polish the bar up, or just clean it and lineX it...
The lights will come off, I have others that are going on it...I might keep the KC's and mount them on my brush guard...hmmm

Anybody have pics of a Chrome Roll Bar on a Red Ranger. I have seen Black, I need to see Chrome...

im sure it would look good chrome, but it looks like it needs some TLC. I'd personaly sand it and get it line-x'd, it'll stay protected for ever

According to the "friend" i bought it from, he has had it in his garage since new, he never installed it.
He will be delivering it to me tomorrow, and we'll see what my options are...

Well, it was delivered.
LineX is definatly in it's future, maybe power coating it Black or Red instead...
Looks like the double single above, just really bad shape, and this one mounts to the top of the wheel wells...

Hey Zach that your truck? I may have to get one of those instead of the undercover tonneau I was planning to get.

BTW where did the roll bar in the red edge come form? my dad has a stepside had he may like something like that.
