"Black Out" 2000 Ranger.

Im thinking of blacking out my 2000 (removing all chrome, tint, dark headlights/tail lights). I want to start with headlights. Any suggestions on particular kits to use? Pictures would be nice.

It is illegal in most states to "black out" your headlights. I would tint the orange turn signals but DO NOT tint the headlights themselves. It will kill your range of light. You can also tint your taillights.

They will let you slide on the tailights as long as you don't tint them too dark. They should have a red plastic tint to them. If you black them out and you can't see your red lights through them very well you will defiantly get ticketed.

Not really. We are pretty limited unfortunately. You could get projectors though.

The painter at my shop sprayed some clear with dark tint (basically Nightshade) on his headlights, it wasn't a crazy amount, but now it looks like its an old chevy with a bad ground. an Officer checked it out, and at a quick glance he said its not too noticeable.

Just paint the whole truck jet black. PPG 4 coats jet black and 4 coats of clear. Do not tape anything off, shoot everything even the tires.
