Icon2 2001-2003 OEM Painted Fender Flares

I want to get only the front fender flares for my 01's Step side since the rears looks horrible. I have the front edge bumper so my fenders and the back of the bumper don't line up at all and it looks tacky to me.

Do I have to get EDGE flares and if so would they fit on the XLT fenders?

I saw before someone said you can get OEM painted fender flares for about $160 or so I was just wondering if anyone has a link,.

I checked out the fordonlineparts.com but they aren't already painted unless I am searching wrong...

Thanks,
-Nigel

Everything will line up. Just get the edge flares. It will fit an XLT.

Those are the edge ones?

I don't see anywhere specifically where it says edge..

Just want to make sure.

Thanks,

Thanks for the pic... Where does one go about getting those fastners.. I just ran the part number show for the 6 fasterners and the 3 bolts that look like they go in the front and nothing pops up on the site.

Thanks,

Ordered a bag of fastners from ClipsAndFasteners.com

Same part number and all.. Ford was almost $5 PER fastner... Got a bag of 25 from the above site for $3 bucks... F. U FORD... seriously, they can suck a dick on that.

I ordered the two front fender flares so once I get them I will post pics of the install. I don't think it will look too bad actually with jus the front fender flares and no rears, since it's a step side bed. Just trying to close the gap with the fender to the ednge bumper.

I got my interior Push Pins from ClipsAndFasteners.com, very good prices.

You say you can use the Ford P/N ?

Do you need all of the fasteners extended out for the flares ?

I only got the ones marked as 388577-S You can use those for the inside fender flares and I believe the underside.

I am just waiting on the call from the dealer to make sure ,my flare come in. It's in processing state right now. Once they come in I will hopefully get pics up soon so people can see what just the front flares look like on an step-side bed. Not touching the rears at all. Only doing this because the gap looks stupid from my edge front bumper to the normal fenders I have. They don't match up. This should fix that.

Just got an email from the dealer saying they cancelled my order... not sure why?
Is it possible you can't get the fender pieces anymore? Seems a bit odd.
I'm going to call them in the morning and see what's goin gon.

None of the Ford Obsolete Parts Houses I use show the front fender flares, the back yes but no fronts.

Here is an e-mail address, send this guy a message telling him all your info.
Ask for “Ray” and tell him exactly what you want; if anyone can find it he will.

parts@stumpfford.com, mention the Ranger-Forums

You can also call them with any questions at 800-558-5211.

Fitment - The guy that bought my Styleside Bed from my 03 EDGE used his XL Fender Flares snapped in place but I can’t say on the rear but can’t believe Ford would be that stupid and chg the holes for a particular model.
