I have a 2001 ranger XLT. 2wd. It currently has the chrome bumper with plastic valance, and i wana upgrade to one with foglights. i understand the bumpers of the 4x4 and XLT are held on differently. Will this bumper work for my truck.

here is what the bumper looks like, its an 01-03 edge bumper with fogs.. (the shortened chrome piece that doesn't fully extend to end of bumper unlike XLT bumper.)

 

I plan on doing this also to my '02 XLT. I can't find any in a junkyard but have looked at LMC Truck. I do believe the bumpers both mount the same way since the 4X4 bumper looks almost exactly the same except the ends of the bumper where the valance wraps over it. If you do it, please let us know how it went.
