new diff cover...need opinions...

Ok, as much as i like the chrome cover, im getting pretty tired of crawling under there to get off surface rust, and it annoys me when its there. So its time for a new diff cover and I needed some opinions. I narrowed it down to two. Let mw know what you guys think. I'm thinking of I got the Ford Racing one with bearing support, she;d be 302-ready for that possible swap someday lol......but im not sure how realistic that is.

here's the first one
http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=9291

and the second
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure why you would want a clear diff cover... and the other one idk its ok.

put some work into it...

something like this one

granted my truck is all dirty and this picture really shows it...

even in raw, unpainted form the Explorer diff cover looks good...

i like the explorer ones but im picky, and finding one on ebay probably isnt going to work. i thought about powder coating the stock one....eh. im still leaning towards either finding an explorer one or getting one of the aluminum ones from summit. im too darn picky lol

you think some never dull might help remove some of that surface rust better? its just pitted on the outside of the cover and its bugging me. i guess for 30 bucks you can just buy a new one each time you change the gear oil
