I'm also wondering about reception... I had a 9" one on my Mustang and it wasn't too great.

What does he say to use to tighten it on? The one I had just had a chunk of hose to slide over and use some pliers or channel locks to tighten on.

I want the black one but it says there's none in-stock. Guess I'll have to wait...

welp went on a lil road trip today and tried the ol fm tuner.. in delaware i really didnt pick up much other then country, so i honestly couldnt stand to listen to see how it was. However after i got into PA i picked up most of the normal channels and they stayed tuned in pretty well.. so i dont think its that bad, that being said i went back to my ipod interface on the way home.

Is anyone aware of another seller on eBay or some online retailer that sells these antennas? I emailed the seller on eBay and was told they it could take 2 - 3 months

The look is there but being an Amateur Radio Operator I don’t think the reception will be at the level of quality I would want.

The BLK OEM Units are nice, look good and are designed to work the way they should in the frequency range of the HD/AM/FM Broadcasts, works for me.

if you got one of these and are worried about reception, you could look into an antenna signal booster/amplifier.

dgaf reception this should be a anti-theft mod, just like relocating your hood release cable.
