Does anyone know of any companys that sell CLOTH tonneau covers? Every dodge i see with a tonneau cover has a cloth one. I have searched and searched and cant find any manufactures of these- is this a dodge only item? and if so WHY? the cloth looks so much better then vinyl.

 

if you never see cloth tonneau covers, maybe there's a reason. vinyl is more rugged, sturdy? weatherproof?

 

why would you want a cloth one?? Vinyl is strong stuff. I've got a vinyl tonneu on my 71 chev.

 

I made two for my stepside out of boat canvas. it looks 100x better than vinyl, and offers the same protection.
