I got the word wrong- flares, not guards- the things are crazy expensive and what I'm curious about is what manufacturer makes the best guard for the $-ease of install is a plus as well.

No I don't have wide tires on the truck- only 205- 70-r 15's! As a city dweller I won't be changing the tire size either, but I would like them for both the look and for protection for the inside edge of the fenders.

Junkyard looks best- I have to take a trip to one soon anyway to replace my little seat console.

The prices I have seen for these things is ridiculous. 290 to 400 bucks for a set! At around 100 bucks a wheel that isn't that bad, though I know manufacturers try to take advantage of the aftermarket.

Personally I think a quality set should go for around $200. Thanks.
